This wiki is an ongoing project by the brethren of Western Star Lodge No. 2 to thoroughly and comprehensive document and share the history of the oldest chartered lodge of Masons in California; the history of its members, officers, and concordant bodies; and the history of its hometown of Shasta, California.

It also of the goal of this website to provide information to the public in general, and potential Masons in particular, about Freemasonry--what it is, what it does, and how to join.
