Louis Wellendorff

Arrived at Shasta in 1851 and established a drugstore with partner R.M. Saeltzer. He and Saeltzer moved the business to Redding in 1872 to the corner of Market and Tehama Streets. In 1877, Wellendorf, Saeltzer, and new partner James McCormick established the McCormick-Saeltzer Store at Redding.[1]
