Hiram Award

The Hiram Award was promulgated in 1978, by the Grand Lodge of California, as a constituent lodge program to honor those members who, year after year, display their devotion without special recognition or special honor.
It is meant for members who give of themselves freely and voluntarily outside the line offices. These are the members who are truly the living cement that binds our Fraternity into a true brotherhood. They are to be found at labor in the kitchens, the coaching rooms and on the committees of the lodge; they are the men who may be counted on to complete whatever task is required, working tirelessly for the benefit of Masonry in general and this lodge in particular.
The Hiram Award is the highest honor that a Mason may receive from his lodge.
