REDDING – Harold (Mac) McDaniel was born on September 18, 1938 in Concord, CA to Harold O McDaniel, Sr. and Alverta Hattie Scott McDaniel. He passed away at home on August 13, 2007 at the age of 68.

He is survived by his wife Lynda McDaniel; daughter Maria McDaniel of Maryland; daughter Katherine Baugh of Washington, her husband Douglas Scott Baugh and their children Brittany, Alexander and Alexis; and daughter Alicia Treglown of Virginia, her husband Timothy Treglown and their daughter Sydney.

He graduated from Shasta High School and Chico State University; served in the United States Air Force (1956-60); was a Shasta County Deputy Sheriff from 1960 to his retirement in 1984; worked as an investigator and paralegal for Ronald O. Lyerla, attorney at Law (1985-91); and was Chief of Security for North State Security from 1992 to the time of his death.

He is a member of the Free and Accepted Masons, Knights Templar, the Commandary, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. [1]
