Dwight Spencer

Although listed in some sources as DeWitt Spencer, an 1893 letter from Benjamin Shurtleff to James L. Richardson transcribed by Richard B. Eaton establishes his name definitively as "Dwight Spencer." According to Shurtleff, Dewitt was living in Napa at the time of the letter and was nearly 80 years of age.
